The main goal of this work is to describe the conception, construction, and evaluation process of a mobile Assistive Technology (AT) for teaching-learning of Portuguese Language (L2) by deaf people. The application was developed in three stages: a preliminary round of studying the characteristics and identifying of features, a step to develop the application, and, finally, the application of the educational product. The application uses visual resources, texts written in the Portuguese Language, and videos in Libras for learning L2. The results indicate that the application is a pedagogical strategy that integrates the necessity of deaf people for learning L2. It confirms that visual resources, presentation of information, and gamification are accessibility strategies that stimulate L2 learning.
