The main objective of this article was to analyze how competence-based training takes place in the construction of their curricula and guidelines in the scenario of medium-level professional training in Pernambuco. In order to analyze the structuring of official documents that will guide the practice of building competent professional profiles, in the context of the Confection Center of Agreste Pernambucano, a qualitative descriptive-analytical research was carried out. In view of the data, there is an alignment, by the institutions, of the documents in the notion of competences and direction to the construction of a professional profile related to the demands placed by contemporary society, and that in the context of the Polo, they will keep specificities in view of the local socioeconomic characteristics.
