Abstract

This article had the task of analyzing deaf children's literacy, presenting political and legal aspects of deaf education, in the theoretical and practical context. The characteristics of Deaf Inclusive Education in regular schools and Bilingual Education were exposed considering the relevance of the methods used by the educators in the literacy process of deaf students and their specificities, with a theoretical deepening through bibliographic research and informal contacts with the teacher. deaf students and their families.
