Biological Reserve of Duas Bocas, Cariacica, Espírito Santo, Brazil. It was initially created as a Forest Reserve. It is in public possession and domain. Its area has undergone human changes due to the cultivation of bananas and coffee and grazing activities. The Duas Bocas dam is located in this reserve. President Getúlio Vargas inaugurated this reserve. It is supplied by Pau Amarelo river, Panelas rivers, and Naia-Assú river. The unit is part of the Duas Bocas Ecological Corridor - Mestre Álvaro. The reserve represents an important forest fragment of Atlantic Forest in a good state of conservation and is home to a rich and diversified fauna, with rare and endangered species.
