Abstract

A scope review was carried out on social skills and entrepreneurship, with search strategies in MEDLINE (PubMed), EMBASE, Web of Science, Scopus and PsycInfo databases. Six articles for final analysis were included, selected by the software EndNote version X9 (Web of Science Group) and Rayyan QCRI. There were relationships between entrepreneurial characteristics and certain classes of social skills (such as leadership, cooperation, teamwork and communication skills) that should be improved beyond the technical competence required in the performance of any professional function. Higher education institutions have shown to play an important role in the development of entrepreneurial capacity and social skills of students.
