Abstract

Studies that assess the perception of reality that students have about Agroecology can become a very important tool to verify the level of environmental knowledge that students have on the subject. In this sense, the present work aimed to know and compare the perception that students of the Technical Course in Agriculture of the Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo - Campus Montanha (Ifes) and Escola Família Agrícola de Chapadinha - Nova Venécia / ES (Efac) have related to agroecology. he target audience was made up of students in the last year of technical vocational high school (57 students), 22 students belonging to Efac and 35 students belonging to Ifes. Data collection was done through the application of an online questionnaire with closed questions. The data indicated similarities and differences in the positioning of Efac and Ifes students regarding the agroecological theme, however it is clear that the pedagogical instruments - contained in the Pedagogical Projects - used for the teaching of agroecology at Efac are more consistent and frequent in relation to the Ifes.
