Abstract

The investigation presented here aims to identify management models for Higher Education implemented in IFRS – Porto Alegre, compared to the institution's Higher Technology Courses, from the perspective of Course Coordinators, namely: Technology in Environmental Management, Technology in Internet Systems and Technology in Management Processes. We used as a methodological strategy the descriptive-exploratory documentary research, articulated with semi-directed interviews with the coordinators of the higher courses of the institution. In the data analysis process we have the Discursive Textual Analysis guided by the assumptions of the Multidimensional Paradigm of Education Administration. The results point to a diversity of Higher Education management models in the institutional scenario, based on the concepts of efficiency, effectiveness, relevance and effectiveness articulated in greater or lesser degrees of proximity.
