Urban erosion is an environmental problem in the Northwest of the State of Paraná. In view of the losses of the natural resource important for food and impacts on water resources, scientific knowledge contributes to the adoption of measures to control erosive processes, through the delimitation of the problem with the production of Cartography on the size and location of the gullies. The objective of this research is to produce geographic information and explanations about the causes of the development of gullies in small cities in the Northwest of Paraná. The methodology was applied with the elaboration of a database in a geographic information system on gullies and associated forms of linear erosion in the cities of Loanda and Santa Cruz de Monte Castelo. In the peri-urban area of Loanda there is an erosive process with an extension of 3 kilometers, with an association of marginal erosion and gully. In the case of Santa Cruz de Monte Castelo, despite the existence of erosion control structures and areas of conserved native forest, the erosive process develops and represents environmental and economic losses. In short, geographic information on urban and peri-urban erosion is important for municipal management and contributions to studies in future projects to solve the problem.
