Abstract

This study aims to identify the level of knowledge of financial investments among students at the Ifes campus Linhares, as such knowledge can be a differentiator in choosing a more profitable financial product. The research used in the study is bibliographic, by consulting articles and books that talk about financial investments and the technique for obtaining the data to be analyzed by the research is the application of questionnaires to students. The data obtained through the analysis identify that almost half of the students at the Ifes campus Linhares, specifically 42,1% of the survey respondents, claim to have low knowledge regarding the level of financial investments. When asked about their knowledge of the fixed income market, 41,3% indicated that they had low knowledge, while for the variable income market 42,6% also indicated low knowledge. From the research, therefore, it appears that there is a need to apply knowledge related to financial investments in Ifes educational institutions and possibly in schools in general.
