This research had the objective of inquire the articles published on the website of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – CAPES, Brazil, in the period 2011-2020, a decade, to highlight what is published about High Abilities/Giftedness (AH/SD) in student teaching and learning contexts. The methodology for data collection was inspired by the systematic review proposed by Okoli (2015) and for data analysis, we opted for the procedures of Discursive Textual Analysis. The results showed some trends in what has been published in journals about the investigated area, among them we highlight the following emerging categories: Bibliographic Reviews; Identification Processes; Other Themes; Service Programs; Duplication of Special Needs; Teacher Education; AH/SD Conceptions; Official Documents; Development of Creativity; Perceptions of Students with AH/SD; Studies on Bullying; Gender Studies; School Inclusion; School Enrichment Models. During the categorization process, some subcategories were also identified, which helped in the characterization of the area of High Abilities/Giftedness. However, there was a lack of articles focusing on student learning with AH/SD, which is a gap that still, needs investigations and disclosures.
